Receptions and private events

If you would like to arrange a private visit, invite your clients to the Rhône-Alpes region, sign an agreement/contract, celebrate your company’s anniversary or simply try a new way of communicating:

The Lyon Museum of Contemporary Art provides an outstanding venue for your events and a unique opportunity for your guests to get a taste of the current art scene in a prestigious setting.

Private evening viewings

The Museum offers private viewings outside normal opening hours from Monday to Saturday. These guided tours generally take place after 7 pm, by prior arrangement.

Events in the conference room

Situated on the ground floor, our conference room is ideal for general meetings or press conferences and is available for hire to private companies. It seats 72, and is equipped with a projection booth and a fixed screen. Available for half or full days.

Private events

Your receptions at the Museum of Contemporary Art will reflect the image of your company. During the course of the evening your guests will be able to view our exhibitions, perhaps with one of our specially trained museum lecturers. Depending on the number of your guests, you may reserve the ground floor rooms (75 for a seated dinner – 280 for a drinks reception). Free choice of caterer.

The museum will help with the planning of your event and can supply the addresses of a number of service providers.
